This round of Limburg Cycling and Grimpeur is suitable to put your watts to the test. The route is adorned by a number of large calf biters! However, the first 35 kilometers are mild for the legs, so enough time to warm up. But don't think the run-up is as flat as a dime, because it never is in this region. The Stoepert and Slakweg are the support programme on this course. Not to mention those uncategorized bumps that shouldn't have a name... After the first few scrambles in the Grensmaas valley, the calves are at temperature and the course goes towards Heuvelland. A small German trip takes you back to South Limburg territory via Orsbach. If you have this behind you, you cycle towards the highest peaks of the rolling Limburg landscape. Enjoyment is guaranteed here. Do that too because after this the race is hardened with calf biters such as the Schulsberg, the Trintelerberg and the Fromberg.
