This hiking classic is organized annually in the first weekend of May by wsvNOAD from Bocholtz. It is one of the most difficult walking routes in the Netherlands, among other things, because of the many hills with sometimes considerable increases. The classic is largely run in groups at an average speed of 6.5 km per hour. The last 15 km is free course and is marked.
The route is a walking route but despite that it sometimes runs on public roads or bicycle paths. There are also areas that are only accessible to pedestrians. There are plenty of opportunities to take a break but also to stay overnight if the route is run individually.
The car route and / or motorcycle and bicycle route are different from this walking route, which is very easy to do at your own pace, where the opportunity to enjoy nature is of course abundant. You can determine the starting point for this circular walk.
