Road Cycling Route - South Limburg - Amstel Gold Race-Loop 1

Welcome to beautiful South Limburg. The South Limburg landscape is ideally suited for a beautiful cycling tour.

The Amstel Gold Race route, The Netherlands' only cycling classic, is a tough challenge for every cycling tourist. If you follow the route signs of the Amstel Gold Race (loop 1), you will come face to face with several notorious South Limburg slopes.

This route is a true experience, where you will encounter several well-known calf biters such as the Cauberg, the Adsteeg and the Fromberg. A mouth-watering round for the enthusiast. You will be amazed by the beautiful nature, the beautiful views and of course the many terraces to take a break.

You can park and start at the Amstel Gold Experience (De Leeuwhof 2 in Valkenburg a/d Geul) located in the cycling mecca of the Par'cours. Here you can also go for a cup of coffee or for bicycle rental.
