This route is plotted in the sea clay landscape of the northwest of the Netherlands. The route runs largely alternately over the WestFriese Omringdijk and the Beemster Ringdijk.
The central sea clay area consists of West Friesland and reclaimed areas.
West Friesland is an older country with an alternation of higher creek ridges and lower bowls.
The reclaimed land is newer land, they are lakes and parts of the former Zuiderzee that have been drained and reclaimed.
The tour starts and ends at the carpool place at the McDonalds along the A7 near Hoorn.
Please note: The IJsselmeerdijk between Hoorn and Enkhuizen is closed to motorcyclists on weekends from 1 April to 31 October.
