This route starts at the Botanical Garden, which is worth a visit in itself with its wealth of endangered plants, beautiful vistas, and delicious refreshments. The route takes you through the Anstel valley, which will surprise you with gems such as Hoeve Nieuw-Ehrenstein and the Cranenweyer, the only reservoir in the Netherlands. In the Strijthagerbeekdal you pass Castle Strijthagen and the accompanying water mill.
The route description with information along the way can be found in the brochure '11 walks in Eurode'. This brochure, enriched with many beautiful photos, is available at the VVV in HuB Kerkrade (Theaterplein 30).
