Description by the author

A beautiful and varied cycling route that is almost completely flat, with the exception of a few small hell links in the dunes.

Around Nature Reserve "Het Zwin" (in the Belgian part of the route) it is not paved, but can also be done on a road bike.

Departure and end point is Cycle Junction 32 at the port of Cadzand-Bad. There is plenty of opportunity for (paid) parking nearby. The cheapest is the parking lot on the Kanaalweg (past "Hotel Noordzee"). From November 15 to March 15, it is even free.

In the visitor center of "Het Zwin" and also in the beautiful fortified town of Sluis there is catering.

The way back goes through the characteristic polder landscape of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen with its sea clay fields and willow lanes.

The route first follows the "Coastal Route" and then partly that of the "Disappeared Zwinhavens".

TIP: Bring binoculars for the birds in "Het Zwin" and further along the way.
