Perhaps the most beautiful hiking route in the vicinity of the city of Utrecht. This signposted (blue sign with white arrow) route follows the course of the Kromme Rijn downstream from the green villages of Werkhoven, Odijk and Bunnik and leads along the old towpath. Along the way, some viaducts do have a questionably low passage! Nevertheless, this car-free route along the five-thousand-year-old river leaves an unforgettable impression in every season.
