Insenborn is a village in the commune of Esch-sur-Sûre in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. According to the 2001 census, the municipality has 157 inhabitants.
This beautiful easy hike starts in the beautiful village of 'Insenborn'. It begins with a steep climb of a few hundred meters to continue at the same altitude until you gradually descend to the "Burfelt" nature center, on the shores of the "Lac de la Haute Sûre".
From there we follow this shore to the village. Due to the vegetation you don't have much view of the 'Süre', just enough to stimulate the senses. The focus is more on the beautiful works of art that you encounter here and there.
Don't forget to visit the beautiful church of Insenborn. Inside and out, it's really a feast for the eyes.
In our opinion, this walk is suitable for sturdy strollers.
