We did this march in September 2013. It was the Vianden race car as it was. The current Vianden 1 carriage is shorter. The route of this promenade is now, on 04.07.2022, completely cleaned. This route also runs on local trails, most trails are accessible. Someone who would like to let us know in a comment if it is still possible? :o)

Very nice walk with a lot of bumps. Vianden Castle is definitely worth a visit. Don't hesitate to take a day to visit all the sights. We bought a Luxembourg Card with which we spent a day in Vianden. We came back later for the walk. It offers a magnificent view of the castle and the Our valley.
