Description by the author

Inverness is a city in the north of Scotland at the feet of the Highlands and about 160 kilometers west of Aberdeen. The city lies at the mouth of the river Ness, which has its source in the slightly more southeastern world-famous Loch Ness. The city is therefore an ideal base for visiting that beautiful lake, but naturally also has a lot to offer. Sights such as Inverness Castle, Inverness Cathedral and the Victorian Market will all be visited during this walk in combination with a whole host of other gems that Inverness has to offer.
