Description by the author

Blackpool is a northern English city about 80 kilometers northwest of Manchester. The city has been a seaside resort since the 18th century and still bears that honor. The many sights that Blackpool has to offer are therefore all derived from the money that was and is generated by the tourism sector. At present Blackpool no longer attracts the same amount of tourists as before, but that does not make the city any less beautiful. The walk takes you past everything the city has to offer such as the Blackpool Tower, the North Pier, St John's Church, ... and a whole host of other gems that will prove that Blackpool indeed has a lot to offer.
