Steve's South Derbyshire Wander

Hilly ride out of Stone to Uttoxeter, then along the valley of the Dove, with a quick diversion up to Marston Montgomery. Turning for home at Marston-on-Dove, to climb spot to and cross Needwood Forest, back to Uttoxeter. B road ride to return to Stone and its railway station. Cafe in Tutbury, and Bramshall - plus other close to route. Highlight is the rolling countryside, but take look at Tutbury Castle. The scene of Briaton's biggest ever explosion is just off route near Hanbury.
