Not so many pretty villages today, as this is a bit of a bee-line for Telford station for the journey home. Back along the delightful Club valley to Craven Arms. This town is not beautiful, but has a fascinating history and is worth a look round. The way to Much Wenlock has pleasant scenery, and a detour to the top of Wedlock Edge, using ne of the numerous minor roads that wind across it, is well-worthwhile. The town of Much Wenlock is very pretty and makes a good lunch spot. Then it is down to the River Severn in the historic Ironbridge Gorge - a World Heritage Site. Finally a traffic-free route takes you to the railway station in Telford - a new town.
