A bit of almost everything. From Tottergill Farm Cottages or Carlisle Station, using Elements of NCR7, 72 and 10; Carlisle Castle, Longtown, Kershope Forest, Newcastleton (a little off route for refreshments; then Kershope Forest, fascinating Bewcastle, Hadrian's Wall, Lamnercost's lovely Priory, Brampton and back. Easy elements, but strenuous and very lumpy all the way home. I was saying at Tottergill. Could do an overnight stop in Newcastleton. Lots to see or just a great ride for audax or sportive training. to miss out Tottergill and Castle Carrock, and head back to Carlisle follow NCR72 from Brampton.
