Start beneath the magnificent keep of Richmond Castle, head over the top of Clapgate to Reeth, then up Arkengarthdale to the highest pub in England, The Tan Hill Inn. Retrace steps to Whaw and ride over the Stang, before taking the beautiful little winding hillside lanes to the edge of Whashton and back over the hill to Richmond. Fifty miles or so of the best ups-and-downs in England. You will know you have ridden this, in your legs and in your heart!
