Campbeltown Pier, along the east side of Kintyre, with views over to the Isle of Arran. Taking in Sadell, Carradale and an excursion to Skipness. Thence over the hill to the west side and a cruise down the none-too-busy main road. with beaches and views across to Isla and Jura. Return to Campbeltown with its cafes and bars. Think that the startracker overestimates the amount of traffic! Nothing for a confident cyclist to worry about, in my opinion. Did this on a Brompton, but best to have something with a few more gears and bigger wheels, unless you plan to use the bus!
