Recreational cycling routes along the tow paths of the Grand Union Canal. It starts in Leicester and ends in London. This part takes you from Leighton Buzzar to Watford

Its main line starts in Birmingham and ends in London stretching for 137 miles (220 km) with 166 locks. The Grand Union Canal in its current form came into being on 1 January 1929, and was further extended in 1932. It was formed from the amalgamation of several different canals, and at 286.3 miles (460.8 km) (281.3 miles (452.7 km) when excluding the shared line with the Oxford Canal), is by far the longest merged canal in the UK.
