Description by the author

Uses cycle route at beginning and end of journey, with a spur along the high road towards Aber, affording spectacular views. There is an optional additional spur along the new cycle track after crossing Afon Ogwen at Coetmor Bridge which takes you into Bethesda. (Not shown on this route as it isnt registered on Google maps yet!) I would DEFINITELY recommend taking this route anti-cklockwise so as to avoid having to go up the very long hill up from Tal y Bont. Bear in mind that the drop down towards Aber is long and steep and you will have to come back up. I happily turn around after 7.5 miles, having seen the wonderful views from up on high and completing the route from thsat point.
