The Viking Coastal Trail begins at the village of Cliffsend near Ramsgate. It travels northwards along Kent's coastline, passing spectacular chalk cliffs, sandy beaches, bays and rock pools to reach Reculver. Pay attention to tide times when reaching Reculver, or use a short section of path on the clifftop road if necessary.
