Description by the author

Aix-en-Provence is a city in the southern part of France, 40 kilometers away from Marseille. The city is best known for the famous Cours Mirabeau with its plane trees, old mansions and the 2 beautiful fountains. In addition, this tour takes you to the old center where the many squares (of which the Place Albertas is the best known), the idyllic narrow streets and the 15th-century Cathédrale Saint Sauveur are the most noteworthy. After a few wanderings along the Tourreluque and the Cours Sextus, the tour eventually brings you to the Place de l'Hotel de ville where you can finish off with a refreshing drink on one of the many terraces.
