Description by the author

The Limfjord Route (N12) is one of the most beautiful cycling routes in northern Denmark. The cycle route takes you entirely around the Limfjord in northern Jutland, and the North Sea and Kattegat are also reached. Only a small part of the route is unpaved. You cross the Limfjord via the ferry at the mouth in the Kattegat and at the Thyborøn Canal in the west. TIP: Extend your cycling holiday to include the 9 beautiful islands in the Limfjord that you can reach via the smaller ferries.
