National Cycle Route 2: Hanstholm - Kopenhagen

National cycle route from Hanstholm to Copenhagen

From the fishing harbor in Hanstholm, cycle to the old "merchant harbour" in the capital.

The trip goes from the wild West Sea through farmland and forests, past manor houses, along Denmark's only river Gudenåen, over the Kattegat, through Odsherred and the northwest Zealand landscape.

The course is like a cross-section of the varied Danish landscape, and thus an excellent introduction for Danish or foreign tourists who want to experience Denmark on two wheels.

The total length of national cycle route 2 is 380 km.
