Description by the author

This trail delves deep in the 100-year history of Crans-Montana. This trail commemorates our ancestors who built the trail in order to supply the meadows and alpine pastures and thus ensured the survival of their families. The major historical events are presented on information boards along the way. Features: the Squirrel Trail to the north of the Geneva Clinic. The grotto between les Barzettes and Aminona offers a fascinating exhibit of regional geology. Above the grotto visitors discover a magnificent viewpoint covering the entire Rhône Valley. A small museum of crystals and local wines is open in Aminona.
