More than 250 larches grow on the Balavaud Alp, ranging from 300 to 800 years old. With a circumference of up to twelve metres, they are the largest in Europe! Tracquet is accessible by cable car from Haute-Nendaz. It is also possible to use hike to Tracouet, thus extending the trip by two hours. A spectacular view to the Rhone valley rewards hikers at the end of their journey.
