Description by the author

Departing from Hermann-Debroux metro station, this cycling route will take you through the greenery to the south-east of our capital in no time!

You'll ride through the Tervuren park, the Brussels parks of Tournay-Solvay, Seny and Ten Reuken and the Jan van Ruusbroeck park with the Hoeilaart castle (at Exit 42). Need a little break? Stretch your legs at the Groenendaal horse racetrack or in the Tervuren arboretum, or take a cultural break at the Folon Foundation in the Château de La Hulpe farm. You will find more than 500 watercolors, sketches, paintings and sculptures by the contemporary Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon. Are you looking for a suitable stopover for a picnic? You will find many idyllic spots on Lake Genval.
