Meldert : Natuurpunt : Mene - Jordan Valley

The promenade of Natuurpunt has been taken over by tourism Flemish Brabant and can be followed with hexagonal signs, unfortunately some alternative paths have been omitted accordingly. The GPS walk follows the alternative routes. A picturesque valley with an exotic name where you walk on cobbled strips, through hollow roads, meadows, fruit trees and this in a hilly landscape of Haspengouw. We park and leave at the cemetery of Meldert (Hoegaarden) and we immediately embark on the unpaved path. The article from 'Mene-Jordaanvallei' can be read in the magazine NATUUR. MAGAZINE June/July/August 2021 edition. Natuurpunt has an extension to Meldertbos, which is an additional loop of 3 km.
