Description by the author

This walk starts at the former "Hostellerie De Kluis" now "Interieurcafé De Kluis". From this starting point it goes via a hollow road to the restored Hermitage from 1673 recreated to the Basilica of the Holy House in Loreto near Ancona in Italy. You can also enjoy the first classified panoramic view of Belgium, called the two-star spot, with a view of the castle of Terlaemen. You leave the Bolderberg via a road along the large pond of Terlaemen. These and 1000 other ponds belong to the De Wijers area. You will arrive at the entrance of the parking lot of Circuit Zolder, popularly called "parking 69". Furthermore, you walk through the forests of Terlaemen and through the village of Viversel to the canal. You keep following this bicycle highway at the rear of Circuit Zolder. Then you come to the Domain Bovy where you first see the fish pond where fishing club De Winning is located and then go over the Vlonderpad to the courtyard of Domein Bovy. This domain belonged to the abbey of Averbode from the 12th to the 18th century. In the 19th century, the domain came into the hands of Jozef Bovy, former governor of Limburg, who gave the domain its name. From here you cross the street and enter the Galgenberg where criminals from the region used to be hanged on the gallows. Then you cross the main road to get back to the starting point. There is now only a view of the interior of De Kluis that is completely for sale and of course a cup of coffee or a fresh beer.
