The Kattenbosserheide area is not only a natural gem with breathtaking heath landscapes, but also carries a rich history with it. A beautiful remnant of this is the Leyssensmolen, a grist mill from 1797.

The viewing walk is also recommended: a fascinating and playful discovery tour along ten special landscape spots or viewing points that lie along the signposted paths. Enjoy the beauty of the heath from an original perspective. Lie stretched out listening to the creaking and rustling of the pine forests. Or walk between walls of sand and watch deer drink from a waterhole. In Kattenbos you go back 14,000 years in time!
