Borderless cycling along the Meuse

You start in Maascentrum De Wissen, a bicycle reception and service point with bicycle rental and a permanent exhibition about the history of the korverij. Stokkem was the centre of basketry for centuries.

The route runs largely along the windings of the Meuse. You drive from one sympathetic village to another, a real feast for the eyes. While cycling you can enjoy the fragrant herbs and the beautiful nature of the Meuse valley.

SIGNAGE
The different junctions are numbered and clearly visible on blue rectangular signs. The signs signpost the cycling routes in two directions. In this way you cycle from node to node via a simple system.

NATURE OF THE ROAD
You drive through a quiet, green environment. The route is flat and half car-free.
