Between Evergem-Belzele and Stoktevijver in Zomergem lies the Lieve as it was originally dug by the people of Ghent. Haantjensbrug: here is a place for lovers and a romantic bridge. Tip: the Akkerhoeve to take a breather along the Lieve (or in 't Hof van Beke a little further on).
