AzureLadder ride via Rochehaut, Frahan and Poupehan
In May 2023, we visited Rochehaut. The many viewpoints, the ladder ride and the photos of the area caught our attention. The walk we wanted to do, we spread it out over two days, but you could also connect them in one walk. The first walk of more than 11 kilometers is called 'Ladder walk via Rochehaut, Frahan and Poupehan'. We park the car in Rochehaut, near the viewpoint on Frahan. The path we had actually chosen to go down, we finally did not choose because a mountain bike route was indicated. On the way we cross the old bridge to Frahan and the Ridges of Frahan with beautiful views, where you sometimes have to climb a rock. After going up and down, we arrive at the bridge of Poupehan. Here we also find 'La Grotte Notre-Dame de Lourdes' and a number of picnic tables on a lawn. Via Poupehan, we climb, then walk along a forest path to the ladder walk. Here we join the queue to go up to Rochehaut. We are happy not to walk the other way, because then you are running against the current
