A customized version of my original route to Corsendonk, but with a few adjustments also suitable for larger groups.
The bridge over the Albert Canal in Herentals can be crossed by larger groups via the roadway. Just watch out for traffic congestion. It is also possible to use the bike path, which is wide enough, but it involves a narrow crossing of the roadway. Everything there has been newly constructed.
Between Zammel and Varendonk, larger groups can simply follow the Grote Steenweg. I take a shortcut there to avoid any potential traffic congestion.
