The Plateau of Tielt is a fertile agricultural area. It is not surprising that along the way we pass several dairy farms where they scoop delicious farm ice cream. Heading towards Wingene, we descend into a more forested region featuring the Vagevuurbossen and the magical Sint-Pietersveld. In Ruiselede, we seek out the Vorte Bossen to then reach back to the Tielt Plateau via a careful climb. Several windmills are still operational. Around Kanegem and the Poelberg, we cycle from one panorama to another.
