Description by the author

This day trip is ideal for exploring the old town of Durbuy (called the smallest city in the world, but that was only the case in the 13th century, when applying to obtain the facilities of a city).

15 km is ideal for a nice walk in the morning and to visit Durbuy in the afternoon and have a drink on a terrace. The return trip in the afternoon is a breath of fresh air in the expansive nature and through the deciduous forests.

The walk starts at the Saint-Rémy chapel in Biron and then goes through the deciduous forests along the Rue des Mignées to Petit Han, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia. Just cross a busy road and climb up to the Belvédère of Durbuy, to reach Durbuy via a steep path through the woods. The medieval heart of this small town can be explored quickly... the terraces invite you to strengthen the inner man, necessary for the retreat.

The return is largely the same route, but the views are completely different.

Do not forget to consult the sights here once on site! They provide useful information about what to see.
