This walk visits 9 of the 18 sources of Spa ('sources', 'Pouhons'), namely those to the north and in the valley of the city. There is also a "part 2" that visits the sources on the southern flanks and heights .
In 2021, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee decided to add 'The great spas of Europe ' to the World Heritage List. Spa, with its history of springs and thermal baths, is part of this list.
The walk is part of the walk "in search of all (18) sources of Spa" which, in addition to all the sources, also visits most of the sights of this fashionable city and of which also a A shorter version exists " In search of the most important sources of Spa (shortest) " which only focuses on the sources.
