Description by the author

This mountain bike ride is suitable for beginners with good overall fitness. It leads along trail 4020 from the village of Juns up to the Junsalm hut, home to the Stoankasern mountain dairy, where riders can reward themselves for their hard work by sampling the local produce and even buy some to take home with them. Don't forget to bring a rucksack!
Around 100 metres south of the "Juns-Klausboden" bus stop, take the mountain road into the valley. It is there that mountain bike route 4020 to the Junsalm begins. Follow the signs for "Stoankasern/Junsalm". The trail winds its way up through the forest. Then, above the stream, it arcs around into the side valley home to the Junsalm with its Bergkäserei Stoankasern dairy. Return along the way you came.
