As its name suggests, this easy hike near Kufstein takes in four lakes: the Pfrillsee, the Längsee, the Hechtsee and the Egelsee. There is a restaurant next to the Hechtsee lake with fine views of the glistening water.
The hike begins in Morsbach, a settlement which is part of Kufstein. The first section leads past riding stables through the forest to the Pfrillsee lake and then on to the idyllic Längsee lake. Here, follow the shoreline to the fork in the trail, then turn left to the Hechtsee lake. There, stay left until you get to a large meadow. Continue to the Egelsee lake, which is protected as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Return pas the Hechtsee, then staying left along the edge of the forest for around 600 metres as far as the Verbindungsweg Hechtsee trail. The final section leads along above the Inn river and the Bundesstraße 171 main road. Walk down to the road and then follow it back to Morsbach.
