Walking route - Valkenburg aan de Geul - Altitude walk Valkenburg

Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. This route takes you through the beautiful area in and around Valkenburg. The walk came about in good cooperation with the working group 'Niks aan de Hand' from Valkenburg.

In addition to the existing marked walking routes in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, it was decided to treat the hiker with this route to various views from the steep edges around the core of Valkenburg. The route is mostly based on existing routes and paths around Valkenburg. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a nice cup of coffee.

Please note: this route is not signposted, but can also be downloaded via a special PDF (see under 'Download' under 'Print PDF'). Here you will find a PDF with a written route description. You can park at one of the parking facilities in Valkenburg.
