The "Ciclabile delle Dolomiti" is a long cycling path realized as a result from a project by the mountain community Centro Cadore and financed with the European plans of cross-border collaboration between Italy and Austria. It partly follows the route of the Calalzo di Cadore-Dobbiaco railway line, abandoned in the Cortina d'Ampezzo-Dobbiaco stretch in 1962 and in the Calalzo-Cortina section in 1964. The cycle track follows mainly the Dolomites Railway with the exception of some short stretches where the line ran parallel to the road (as from San Vito di Cadore to Zuel) or near the former railway station of Landro. The route follows the borders of two natural parks (the Tre Cime natural park and the Fanes - Sennes and Braies nature park). In the Dobbiaco-Cortina section, the route is used as a cross-country ski track during winter.
