Pittig ritje met Col du vent en de Col du Minier als letterlijke en figuurlijke hoogtepunten. De regio rond de Mont Aigoual is door fietsliefhebbers vooral bekend van het boek De Renner van Tim Krabbé. De Mont Aigoual wordt in dit boek echter aangesneden vanaf de noordelijke kant. Col du Minier bevat geen uitzonderlijk hoge stijgingspercentage en dus goed te doen. Voor de liefhebbers, je kan nog doorrijden naar de top van de Mont Aigoual na het skidorp L' Esperou. Daarna krijg je een mooie afdaling voorgeschoteld naar de Hérault richting Pont Hérault en Ganges. Plezier verzekerd!
