Diekirch is a city in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with about 6200 inhabitants, located on the Sauer or Sauer River. The city is the capital of the canton of Diekirch and attracts many tourists.
Nice walk north of 'Diekirch'. The hike 'Diekirch D' starts at the parking lot of the beautiful Saint-Laurent church in 'Diekirch'. The church is definitely worth a visit! Parking is paid (about 80 cents per hour, free on Saturdays from 12:00 and all day on Sundays), you can also go to the barracks of the Herrenberg army, it is free.
During the walk you will have a wonderful view of the surroundings and the villages of Bastendorf, Gilsdorf and Diekirch.
