This hike is a combination of 2 marked pedestrian cars. It consists of 2 loops; the southern loop "Brachtenbach" (7.2 km) and the northern loop "Boevange" (6.1 km). They can both be traversed separately.
We went to the church of Brachtenbach, where we descended into the picturesque valley of the Kierelbaach. After about 2 km we left the first loop to get to the loop 'Boevange'. This pedestrian loop runs through the wooded plateau 'Béigerhaard'. We thought we would use different approach routes to connect these loops, but due to the lack of good paths, we were forced to take the same round trip route. After taking the road to the south, we had a wonderful view of the surrounding villages, after which we plunged into the forest to exit at the CR 309, which leads to the trailhead.
