Costa Brava: Route 12

Dit is een lange route, met stevig klimwerk. Verlaat Figueres in noordoostelijke richting, door Peralada met zijn kasteel en wijnbodega's, naar de Alberes, de uitlopers van de Pyreneeën. Zodra je La Jonquera bereikt, begint de 13 km lange klim naar de Franse grens, via Agullana en La Vajol. De afdaling naar Figueres is prachtig, met uitzicht over het meer van Darnius en een fascinerend landschap van lage pre-bergvegetatie door Boatella en Cistella.
