AzureWe did this beautiful and difficult walk on 05.05.2022. It is an ice lick trail that is very well marked with this marking . She went to the church of Bourscheid. Lovers of public transport can take the bus to Bourscheid, but the hike can also be started at Goebelsmühle station. A short route will then be added.
After the access road to Bourscheid, we started on the loop counterclockwise, so that we descended from an altitude of 490 meters above sea level, over a distance of +/- 2 km, into the Sauer valley at 300 meters. A difficult descent.
What is there to see on this walk? Many, too many to list them all. Just look at the pictures.
The promenade passes in front of the Hotel Dirbach Plage . It's time for a delicious cup of coffee. Almost at the end of the walk, you come to a tree that points the way to the viewpoint of Rouschert. Those extra 50 meters are definitely worth it.
