The track starts in Mormoiron, but can in principle be started from anywhere on the road.
You first pedal through the vineyards towards Bédoin.
This is followed by the ascent of Mont-Ventoux by the southern slope, which probably needs no further explanation.
The steep descent (which can be perilous if the mistral blows) takes you to Malaucène, a beautiful Provencal village.
Then you cycle on quiet roads through the mountains of the Dentelles de Montmirail: a mountain massif with sometimes strange peaks (which look like needles), where you climb the Col de la Chaine and the Col de Suzette.
Particularly located is also the town of La Roque-Alric in this mountain range. Through a typical Provencal landscape you return to Mormoiron. On the way, you pass the village of Le Barroux (well, the route goes around), but this village is definitely worth a visit. Above the village stands the castle Le Barroux on a rock.
