Daffodil splendor in the Holzwarchedal near Mürringen

In any case, a nice walk partly through the forest, partly through the protected nature reserve of the Holzwarche. But especially in the incredibly beautiful month of April. Then, millions of wild daffodils bloom in the valleys, among others, of the Holzwarche and form a unique spectacle.

When exactly the daffodils appear, with how much they appear and how long they bloom, depends on the weather conditions, but in the month of April they are still there for at least a few weeks.

The most beautiful part of the walk, namely along the Holzwarche, you walk a little in the other direction, but you will not mind, because you get completely different views from the other direction.

Special feature of this route: we have already noticed a malfunction of the satellite signal near Enkelberger Mühle several times, when you make the loop through the forest. That's why we limited ourselves to slightly larger roads when we mapped out this route. In addition, the small roads in this (hunting) area are often not accessible to the public (although you do not see it on the map, but only on the spot). No worries, the slightly larger roads are also practically traffic-free.

Passes partly on the GR56.
